How do you make money?
+We display advertisements on our website through Google AdSense. This allows us to keep all our tools free for users.
Budget Calculator Questions
What currency does the calculator use?
+All our tools use Pakistani Rupees (PKR/Rs.). Amounts are formatted using the Pakistani numbering system (lakh, crore).
How are the percentage allocations determined?
+Our default percentages are based on research of typical Pakistani weddings. Barat usually takes 40-45% (as the main event), Walima 25-30%, Mehndi 15%, with the rest for jewelry and miscellaneous. You can adjust these to your needs.
Can I save my budget?
+Yes! Your budget is automatically saved in your browser's local storage. When you return to the site on the same device/browser, your budget will be restored. You can also download a PDF for offline reference.
What does the overspending alert mean?
+If your total allocation percentages exceed 100%, you'll see an overspending alert. This means you've allocated more money than your total budget. Adjust sliders until the total is 100% or less.

+Making charges are the labor cost jewelers add for crafting jewelry. Simple designs are 10-15%, while intricate or designer pieces can be 20-40% of the gold value.
